Previous Chapter Impact Projects
sUPERBOWL 50/50
The Superbowl 50/50 has been held at The Squire and the organizing committee gets decides what impact the funds from the event will make. Often members have used this event to help fundraise and offset the cost of conventions.
CAT/GRIZ 50/50
This 50/50 pits team against team in Montana's biggest rivalry game of the year. There is a pot for Griz fans and a pot for Cats fans. It is a challenge to see which pot has more fans and earns the most money. Traditionally this event has been held at The Squire and the organizing committee decides what the funds will impact.
BIllings Idol Karaoke Contest
A fun night of karaoke and a little competition! We took over a local pub in town and turned it into a local karaoke contest for three nights, with a final round highlighting the Billings' area TOP karaoke talents. For a small fee going to charity, contestants competed for a chance to win $800 in prizes—singing in front of three locally talented judges, and showcasing their skills to an amazing full house!
art of networking
An evening of education, networking, art and fun! The Billings Jaycees created this annual event as a way to showcase the chapter, get young people collaborating together in the community and discovering new and unique ways to learn and grow as professionals. As a result, we are connecting young people to make larger impact within the community!
Ronald mcdonald house meals
Nothing says "home" more than a home-cooked meal, especially after a long day at the hospital. We partner with Ronald McDonald House of Eastern Montana and participate in their Family Dinner Program. Whether it's tacos or spaghetti, we provide comfort and support by preparing a meal for the families who are currently staying at their home-away-from-home. Having one less worry is a valuable benefit to families who are focusing all of their energies on their sick child. The families appreciate having a meal ready for them when returning from the hospital and we enjoy visiting and preparing dinner for them.
holiday giveback
Every year a committee is formed for Holiday Giveback. Each year the committee decides how we will give back to the Billings community during the Holidays. Each year is a little different but we are always able to help with the needs of families and individuals in our community.
